Program

Scientific program

The scientific program of the conference will start Wednesday, July 8, 8.45 am and end Friday, July 10, 1:50 pm. Schedules are available!

The booklet in pdf is available

Link to the Invited Lectures.

A full list of presentations is available (sorted by author and title) as well as a book of abstracts.

Prior to the conference, on Tuesday, July 7, several half-day tutorials will be held.

Session Format

useR! 2009 has two kinds of user-contributed sessions which have different aims and formats:

useR! Kaleidoscope
These sessions with oral presentations of 15 minutes each will give a broad overview of the many different applications and usages of the R system that should appeal to a broader audience. Each talk is directly followed by a discussion.

useR! Focus Sessions
These sessions with oral presentations of 15 minutes each will focus on topics of special interest and their goal is to provoke fruitful discussions in the respective user communities. In focus sessions, plenty of time for discussion is reserved at the end of the whole session (rather than after each talk) to discuss all talks of the topic together.

Technical details
All lecture rooms are equipped with a laptop and an LCD projector.
All presenters should send a PDF (preferred!) or PPT (Office XP available only) file with their presentation slides to aline.legrand[at]agrocampus-ouest.fr by 2009-06-26 (unless the presenters need their own laptop for software demonstrations).
