Title:  Web-Based Microarray Data Analysis Using S+ArrayAnalyzer

Abstract:
S+ArrayAnalyzer is a microarray data analysis software solution developed
in collaboration with Bioconductor package developers and deployed with
S-PLUS.  The web version of the software uses the S-PLUS Server
CONNECT/Java layer and tag libraries for direct access to the S-PLUS
engine through JSP scripts.  Analysis results are reported using
S+Graphlets, lightweight web applets that include local drilldown and
zoom, and simple connection to metadata on mouseover and click.  The
application features a simple web interface and configurations enabling
(a) data assembly, preparation, statistical analysis (differential
expression, class discovery/prediction)  and reporting of microarray and
supporting data, (b) statistical analysis and reporting of the genes and
gene list data (e.g. gene set analysis, functional enrichment, druggable
protein mapping, pathway analysis) resulting from the analysis of the
microarray data, and (c) statistical analysis of clinical and discovery
data combinations for identification of genes associated with clinical
response.  The presentation will describe the software design and
deployment using examples of workflows from commercial implementations of
the software.
